The Music Space provides professional music rehearsal and recording studios available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in Utrecht. Whether you're a beginning musician or a professional, The Music Space offers the perfect environment to create music with fully equipped studios ready for immediate use.
The venue operates two locations: The Music Space XL on Australiëlaan 24 features 18 hypermodern music studios including 14 rehearsal studios/live rooms with excellent acoustics, natural daylight, and modern ventilation and climate control (open Mon-Fri 09:00-23:30, Sat-Sun 13:00-23:00). The Music Space Ravellaan at Ravellaan 96 is a self-service location with a unique access system offering maximum flexibility, open 24/7.
Fully Equipped Studios: Every studio comes complete with guitar amplifiers (Fender Champion 100, Marshall Code 50, Blackstar), bass amplifier (Markbass CMD JB), multiple SM58 microphones with fresh pop filters, microphone stands, mixing console (Soundcraft EFX 8/Yamaha 8-channel), Mackie Thump PA speakers, digital piano (Yamaha P45), drum kit (Yamaha Stage Custom with Pearl cymbals/Pearl export), and all necessary cables. Musicians can focus entirely on their music without worrying about equipment.
The Music Space operates on a reservation and access code system, allowing musicians to book online and let themselves in. The facilities offer ample free parking, good public transport access, and the Ravellaan location shares space with café/restaurant Welkominkantien for refreshments. Free coffee and tea are provided, and musicians can bring their own drinks while keeping spaces tidy.
